We have found that setting up projections is time well spent for angiography and intervention. For extreme and magnified obliques, osseous landmarks become challenging to utilize. Image Overlay takes a 3D image and shows the angle of the C-arm, as well as the location of the area of interest and the magnification level that correlates with the planar imaging. This tool can also be used to superimpose your 3D image over your live roadmap, but we have found this less useful than the ability to center your region of interest and set your projection angles.
